My favorite is that when me and my son are walking to my car away from a store and my son (3 in a week) say "Daddy's car" and points. That always brings a smile to my face.

I even got him a Hot Wheel of a 2003 rally Evo. He always hands it to me and say "This is daddy's car". Or he will say "I want daddy's car".

I had just gotten my Kelfords installed and was running around untuned for 2 days. An older guy in a Z4 jumped all over me making a left for no reason. He had a young woman in the car beside him (looked like his girlfriend). I wasn't going to but I installed the Tephra mod map and had the 2 step ability. So I pin the throttle at the next stop light and when the light goes green I lit him up (Scared the **** out of myself). He wouldn't get beside me until the net light,....his girl was laughing hard.

I felt so bad launching the evo hard....but damn if that wasn't the best feeling....and tht was before tuning on E85. I woudn't dare do it now.

I heard a little kid, maybe 5 or 6, at a gas station tell his dad: "Hey, dad, look its an *EVO*!" This is on my wingless RS.

After work (around 5000 employees), I had a guy walk up to me after I was already in the car and ask me a few of the usual questions about it (how do you like it? Is it fun? etc.) and ended it by saying it has been fun to watch. Some other guy left me a note on my windshield at work one time saying if I ever want to sell it to let him know.

I've also gotten lots of looks/stares just driving around, maybe half from teenage girls. It must be the car since I've been married for 19 years...

Must be your car...

Remember when we were tuning mine and some young girl went spaz in the back of a car that pulled up next to us? I just saw it for a split second.

About 3 weeks ago when I was getting out of work (night security for a high school), there was a party letting out across the street. I didn't think much of it since they usually have parties there every other friday night. So I get in my car in the parking lot and let it idle for a couple mins. letting it warm up like I always do. Well by now quite a few people have left the party and are starting to yell/scream just being dumb drunks. So I figure I might as well get out of here before these guys do something stupid, so I backed out of the spot not paying attention to them walking towards me.. and this absolutely gorgeous blonde is walking in front of all these guys (basically looking like jessica simpson a couple years back) and I started to pull forward and she yells out "I want your EVO!!" so I get on the gas a bit and the turbo spools and give her a BOV salute as I go by.. and then I stop at the stop sign waiting to turn and I look in my rear view and see her turn around to the guys behind her and says "and THATS (points at my car) is why you guys aren't getting any." As they all walk to a SUV.. so at this point I'm all grins, and hit the two step and slide it sideways as I turn out onto the street (no one around at 2am) and I her the same girl give the cat call (the owww OWWW) as I drive away.

Then a minute later I'm kicking myself for just driving by, and not asking her if she wants a ride..
