Damn I had these group of kids screaming at my car once trying to get the alarm to go off so I hit the auto start (But left it in 1st gear, DOH!) so the car jumped forward so i turned it off and they halled *** running, screaming and crying. never seen them around here again.

I had an older friend (~38) ask me if I get funny looks from people when they see me get out the car since I'm not "young" (I'm only 29!).

I work at an office with a parking lot right outside. One of the managers has an STi and we usually park close to each other. One day we were talking about a project towards the end of the day when one of the partners walked by and asked us if we were planning a race.

As for kids, it's always nice to see one just blatantly staring at the car with his mouth wide open. I also had a Navigator full of high school girls yell "THAT'S HOT!" at me at a Steak 'n Shake.

My 8 year old son loves my evo. He said he gets all the attention when i take him to school in it...not so much when I use my old 91 CRX. He would ask me to drop him off a block away..lol

two stories

1. I'm driving through a parking garage and a little kid maybe 4 or 5 points at my front end and goes " mommy its a race car!" I'm thinking wow how does he know? hahah

2. little boy holding moms hands goes "oooh" and points at my car. mom goes " yeah... look at that crazy car!" lol

Best one I had:

I was sitting at a light next to a convertible vette, with a dude driving and a chick in the passenger seat. She was pointing to the wing and i could hear her asking questions. The dude just kinda waved me off and shook his head. Anyways, light turns green, we both go slow off the line (not street racing or anything). Going down the road, im next to him, jump into the gas, roar up 3 or 4 lanes immediately and slow back down. The chick gives me a thumbs up as the guy looks in awe.... win!

that's awesome

The first time I drove to Canada I was sweating bullets because I couldn't get rid of this car for about 20 miles. It was almost midnight, driving up from Jersey. I would leave it in the dust and then slow down and he would be right behind me again!
Anyway, he pulls up alongside me on the passenger side before moving away to take the exit.. rolls down his window and yells "woohooo!!"
Thought that was pretty flattering.

I was cruising down a road during a car show recently and some little kid yelled "Spin 'em!" at me. My friend in the backseat then educated him on how AWD cars cant spin the tires from a stop lol.
