Unhappy third brake light issue

alright so first off your probably going to think im a dumbass for this but, i was trying to install a third brake light decal by sliding it through the small space between the brake light and rear windshield. i had it a little off so i wanted to retry and tried to pull it out with the tip of a sticky note... one thing led to another and now theres a sticky note stuck in the area between the windshield and brake light. does anyone know how to remove the plastic holder of the brake light or anything that could help me. i got this car about a week ago so im freaking out and this has ruined my day. any help would be appreciated greatly.

check in the owners manual for how to change the bulb....odds are you access it from the speaker deck in the trunk

Me too =(

Dude! I had the same exact problem. I tried everything I could but nothing worked...so the only option I had left was to remove the rear windshield. It was a PITA but I learned my lesson. Good luck!

Ha im guessing i'll be laughing about how worked up i got about a sticky note in a few days.

ok don"t go to the dealer it very easy. if your socket doesn't fit because of the torsion bars. go and by a 10mm wrench. it will take a few turns but when it getts loose use your fingers and get them off. unplug your light and hop inside the car and pull it out. next time just put it on the window instead or not at all.
