i also forgot to add ... both of the rear doors shut without hitting the car seats, I didn't have to force them shut or anything. There was maybe 1.5" inbetween the seats and the door panels. All of the seats were properly seat belted in, but i didn't anchor any of the other safety clips. The 3 seats were VERY snug in there, they were pressing together as you can see in the pic. I didnt put any kids in the 2 outer seats cause she was sleeping, didnt appear to be any less room than if alone for the outside 2 seats. On the middle one, my son had plenty of foot room inbetween the two seats. He's only 2 1/2 years though, a 4 year old could be okay, but much older and there would be a comfort issue for sure.

Not sure i would want to drive kids around like this often, as its a PITA to get the seats in and the kids as well, but personally I would have no issues doing it if I needed. The seats fit snugly and safely. The only thing I didn't try was the safety harnesses, and Im not sure they would fit multiple anchors per mount and that would be my biggest concern.

Digdat - I see the pics - the baby seat, I get. The middle toddler seat, I get. What I don't understand is the black seat behind the passenger - where does the child put his legs? If he/she still fits in the rear facing seat (presumably for infants), they fit - but will it fit if you have to turn the black seat around (ie two front facting and one rear facing). When I went through this excercise, I found two forwards and one rear would not fit (including the use of the narrow porsche seat).

I actually got some good news. The guy I gave the trans to, almost has it done. I am trying to get the civic up and running before winter.
