I resemble that remark. Indeed, how sturdy is the installation? This looks like a great option - I, personally, do not like the pod solution...

They never shake around on the windshield. I wish I could say the same for my radar detector. If you have a radar detector and you knwo how much those shake, then expect a TOL less from these. I can't notice any vibration, even while driving at night.

Kool, sounds like it's a pretty good design. I'm actually surprised that they don't move around but, that's good.

How were you treated at Mach V? I met the owner at Altered Atmosphere one day an he seemed like a pretty stand up guy. He definitely seems to know his shiznit when it comes to DSM's and the Evo.

Dan, Geoff, Heather......everyone that I have ever dealt with at Mach V have been great. I know they get tired of me calling sometimes because I ask tons of questions and try to bargain some prices, but they are always friendly and always professional. I have never once had a bad experience with them.

From the way that each one of them talk on the phone, it sounds like they have a great team of workers that all do what it takes to get the highest level of customer satisfaction.

So often in the forums we hear about the problems with vendors, but we hardly ever hear of the positive experiences. I guess it is just like the complaints about the Evo. How many of us post every time our Evo puts a smile on our face?

Mach V is great and they will treat you right. Give them a shot to prove how they do business. You won't regret it.

I dunno Josh... I started talking to Dan about these gauges and happened to mention your name and the price went up!

hehe.. I am going to get that setup you have for gauges... it is sweet and Dan did respond to my questions almost as quick as I asked it.

Thanks for the lead...

I never said that he would cut you a deal for mentioning my name. I just put my name out there so that if he hears "I want a setup like Josh got" it would make his job a little easier.I've done business with him for a few years now, lots while I was in Puerto Rico with my DSM because he was one of the few guys who could ship things to me fast enough for me to get them before the part rusted in the mail. I have always appreciated Dan's work ethics and his prices are 90% of the time below the competition (hey, you gotta make a profit somewhere).

One thing, if you guys do get the fuel pressure gauge, you will need to figure out a way to mate it to the stock fuel rail. You can either dap the stock rail, drill and weld it, or just buy an adaptor from someone and call it a day. I got the one that Pruven sells and it works great. I told Dan about this and he said he would check in to it, so he might be offering that part pretty soon, so you can get a complete setup from his store. Oh, and with the Pruven adaptor, be sure to tighten down the sensor and extra fitting end cap really tight and use teflon tape. I ddin't get them tight enough and got a fuel leak. I let the car idle for about 2 minutes after the install and noticed it. I can send pictures to people if they do this setup, so they will see what exactly to do and not do. Now the car has no leaks. It was a simple fix and totally my fault. It took about 30 seconds to correct and then I was out driving.
