hahah yea, i posted earlier that i found out what it was.

btw, i just lost a set of keys. is there anyway i can unregister the codes?

From the link in the thread (a few below your post) it looks like it is almost type of onstar-type setup/system. I'm guessing that is still a connectivity piece to your phone or whatnot so you can talk to someone (similar to having an onstar button).

Also, I'm guessing the original owner didn't install this, but a package that he was suckered into by the dealer? Eh, who knows.
