Mice in my car!
Today in the morning as I entered my car, I smelt a horrible odor in my car. At first, I thought it was something foul from outside. However when I turned the A/C on, it smelt even worst. So I decided to check my cabin air-filter and found bunch of shredded groceries bags in small pieces on top of my filter along with two dead mice. Not a good feeling at all !
I'm wondering how did the rodents get inside of my car (literally above the cabin air-filter and blower motor, where it is blocked off by many thick hard plastics and such). Is there any holes or such under the car that the A/C vents out to the atmosphere?
Thanks!

I had my EVO for a while, over a year or so. Never had this problem before in the evo, or any cars for that matter . I have not notice any electrical problems...yet.. I hope there isn't chewed up wires.

ive seen this happen couple times. mice are small and get into all sorts of places... they try to find some place warm so while your out of your car they crawl into the engine bay, hang out there and make their way into the cabin i assume.
the only open areas in the evo i would think of are the ac lines and the steering column.

Damn dude that sucks, back in Jan. of 1996 I had a 89 Caprice Classic, NYC got hit w/ 20 plus inches of snow, guess where Rats decided to make a home? In my engine bay, bastards chewed up my spark plug wires, vaccum lines...the smell of rat **** & **** was Mortifying but I gave them a treat that costed them their Lives..lol...they sure never did that again....

I am afraid of that happening to my evo. Mine usually just sits outside under a cover! So that makes it that more comfortable for them.
