No, I really like their cars. I think they look good and have great technology. Too bad their quality control suck. But I really had to give them a chance before knocking them out. Not all the 3 VW/Audi vehicles I owned had the same problem. If one problem is not one car, the other has another problem of its own. I thought I would get a better quality car with Audi but I was wrong. The fit and finish was amazing but that was about it.

I owned Nissan before this and was treated waaaaaay worse. It depends on the dealership, not the company. I love mitsu because I have a great dealership..

If anyone has any issues with your service department, come to ours. We are performance oriented here, so we don't BS you around.

Henry, I'm 55 -- age, not driving speed -- so you can't say that I'm just an immature type impulsive person. I'm careful, thoughtful, and a fairly fast driver. But I don't abuse my eqiupement, and I like to personalize it with a-m parts. And YOU DA Man when it comes to service. If Cerrito is close enough, you'll get my biz. How far are you from Venture, anyhow?

I do the same with the NorCal evo and lancer meets. I try to attend as many as I can. We are also in the works of having a meet here at the dealership.

That sucks man. My '00 A4 is going on 4 years old and making twice the power it did stock. The car is flawless even to this day. My brother has a 1.8T VW and he hasn't had a single cp or window regulator problem. That said, I've done the Audi thing so I'm looking into the Evo and the STi. I like the Evo better, but the mitsu dealership near my house already straight up said that the clutch isn't even covered under warranty when I was up there checking it out. That and the complaints about the paint, dealer run around, and rust leave me wondering....

Wow. Mitsu is going to have a major disaster on its hands now that they fainlly brought the Evo over here, it gets a car of the year award and now they turn around and crap on it's customers with denying warranties on cars *BEFORE THEY ARE EVEN SOLD*!
If that made it it to any of the major three mags, C&D, R&T, Auto they'd be deep fried! I hope they change their tune and that doesn't show up in print.

Evo

FYI: Automobile Magazine has named the EVO their car of the year, and said that it may be the car of the decade. AM not only states that the EVO is great it is setting the bar of what is to come.

We all know Subaru brought the WRX in and broke the ground. But where Subaru softened the STi into more of a daily driver, instead of making the beast it could have, Mitsu brought the EVo into the US in near world-spec condition.

And that's what we love. That is what will bring Subaru and Ford along for the ride, and start honing their weapons.

As for HB mitsu service. Guy Josh rox. Some guy looking like him might be seen helping a customer tweak in a AM BOV while answering another customer's questions.

Great place. Worth a 120 mile drive. Course, in an Evo, any drive is an Experience. Specially if some twisty road can be found between point A and point B.

i can understand if u are babying your car and your clutch fails...but for the most part its the people that are racing and launching their cars that are having the problems......and mitsu isnt going to honor a waranty for a modified car...no company will...look on some vw forums and c how many people had their warentys voided cus of their chipped ecu's...
clutches dont just fall appart....they fall appart for a reason...and if your launching your car u better pray its your clutch letting go instead of a tranny or transfer case...look at how many wrx trannys subaru replaced...my friend is the head tech at subaru and they started turnin people away because of the # of blown trannies

thats the game of tuning cars...u gotta pay to play....if u want to do mods u can basicaly kiss your warenty goodbye.....BUT what would be best is if mitsu had a company that they would allow us to use their products...like ralliart...and still be fully covered...i know subaru in my area let people use turbo xs products...i guess thay had some kind of deal together
