Easy way to raise/lower headlights
Just did this on my garage wall. Pic helped a lot! Thanks!
I used a pretty large screwdriver, inserted into teeth of adjustment gear and twisted one tooth at a time. Pulled out screwdriver, re-inserted, and twisted again, etc until I got 1 level higher.
Also made my passenger side light a little higher than what it was to give me a little more distance on the right road edge.
Can't wait til the evening so I can test 'em out

so i was tryin' to adjust the lights, so the first thing i do is to remove those 2 white plastic covers, but i accidently dropped the one on the drivers side in side the hood somewhere, how worried should i be?

hehe, yeah, they will give you so much for the car, and then what ever you owe thats left over from what they give you, goes on top of the price of the new car....yea i went under a little bit...hehe.
Plastic covers?? That's not where you adjust the headlights!
The adjustments for the headlights are actually more behind the fog lights. Looks like a double-sided geared wheel. They kinda have a plastic form around them that looks like a screwdriver is meant to go down in there and adjust them.

They are exposed, yes. You'll probably need a flashlight to find them. They are right behind the headlights, not really near the fender. The picture posted in this thread will give you a good idea of what to look for.
