Easy way to raise/lower headlights
passenger side should be in a similar spot that you found the drivers side (angle is slightly different I think).
I used a decent sized screwdriver, inserted in the molded plastic hole with one side of the screwdriver inserted into the teeth of the gear. I then twisted the screwdriver to make the gear turn...pulled it up and repeated. I can't remember which way raises or which way lowers, all I can say is that it takes like 5 minutes of twisting to get 1 level of headlight movement

guys this has been discussed before. IMO the fastest, easiest and best way is to use a 1/4 drive socket with a 10mm on it. The nut is right behind the gears. Turn it counter-clockwise to raise the light. For the passenger side just remove the 2 bolts that hold the coolant overflow bottle and move the bottle just to the side to gain access to the bolt. You'll also need at least a 3" extension on the drive socket to reach the nut. Whole proceedure including adjusting the lights take only 5-10mins. You also don't risk chewing up the plastic like others have by using a screw driver to turn the gear.
I tried the philips driver, and it just spun off...apparently my "driver" wasn't big enough...go figure!
My gears were pretty stiff at first, perhaps the philips would have worked better after I got 'em moving.

Passenger side with the coolant overflow bottle moved over to the right. The socket drive also has a 3" extension on it to reach the nut a little easier. It doesn't get any easier than this.
