after installing VG...

Alright, so I just put on my VG from Rexpeed and am wondering how long (if anytime) I need to let it sit before driving. Right now (and during install) i have it in closed garage and during and after the installation I lightly heated the top of the car and edges of the VG once it was taped down (I read somewhere that heat helped the tape stick better). Also since I didnt heat it for more than a minute or two should I continue to warm it or anything? by the way its about 55 degrees outside and maybe 60ish in the garage. sorry if this has been posted but i searched and couldnt find the exact answers

I would let it sit for a day or two especialy if its wet outside.

btw;what was the color of the 3M tape u used white or red?
I used both in the past, and the white didnt stick very well. however I never had an issue with the red.

I drove mine right away after install, no problems. I also used a heat gun during the install.

thanks for the replies, i used the tape that rexpeed provided which hopefully wasnt a bad move? I also am letting it sit over night with a heater in the garage so hopefully it will be good to be driven by tomorrow. by the way the rexpeed VG is looking good and had perfect fitment

If you have the 3M stuff, you can drive right away.

If its not 3M stuff, 24 hours. (Don't know why you wouldn't use the 3M stuff, Rexspeed puts it with every VG.)

well just for anyone interested i drove a lot today with it and it hasnt budged at all. I was in country roads too so I was going pretty quick at times with a lot of turns. Also when I washed my car there were no issues (in case anyone might wonder if that could be bad when it's newly put on). By the way i'm gonna feel stupid for asking this but what exactly is the purpose of the antenna clip? Because I don't know if i attached it right and I cant think of a purpose for it since my antenna is snug with the VG opening.

My Rexspeed VG ripped off driving down the highway. It was a perfect fit and seemed like it wasn't going anywhere but 6 months later flew off doing 80mph driving down the 15.
