Well new alternator installed, believed to have spiked and fried pcm. hopefully tomorrow i will have it 100% diagnosed with buddy at work but i have a question.

car was tuned by turbotrix...when i am not sure as i did not own it then. question is if i in fact need a pcm, which i can likely get covered under warranty, do you think Mitsu will know its been modified and make me pay for it? anyone been tuned then had pcm warrantied?

( i work for dealer but do know the process we have to go through to get pcm authorized. we have just never had issue with tuned pcm come in)

again, we are not 100% yet. i know if i get it replaced i will have to have the car tuned sadly.

 

Whats the car doing or not doing. May have fried the battery load test it.

 

Make sure to check the alt fuse too on the positive battery terminal.

 

fuses are good.

battery tests fine.

car is not charging. only have 11.9v at battery. will run but kills battery casue no alterntor input
