need help choosing

hi

i am thinking to buy a rev limiter and i need to know basic infomation about them since i am new to all this stuff.also what makes are there that make them.one more thing do they pop flames and how.

Both a stationary and moving rev limiter can be programed directly to your stock ECU. Search around man. Lot of info on tuning in here

+1 - I was just going to say the same thing. To "pop flames" out of your exhaust, I believe you would have to be running extremely rich or be on anti-lag (I don't know 100% so don't quote me on that one)

You can do it also by retarding the heck out of you high octane ignition map in the load cells your hitting on the 2-step.

Not my idea of a good time but it'll pop flames

you need to reread what the others said above.... Your car has a rev limiter already. You can change these values with tuning the computer that is ALREADY in your car.

Search around a bit.

ok thanks for info guys also if antilag is on evo 8 does it damage the evo in anyway and bytheway car is only gonna be used for weekends
