Do you know this car?

As the title says, I'm wondering if anyone knows of this car. It's in the Atlanta area for now and I'm thinking about purchasing the car and putting it back on the road, any information would help. I have xtra pix if needed.

How much do they want for it?? That one looks to be in good condition but i see threads with salvaged evos that people spend more fixing then it would cost to buy a clean title low mileage perfect example.

If a salvage rebulid comes out to more or equal to a clean title than your getting ripped off. Ive driven salvages all my life and everytime I sell em I make a profit proior to the fact I drive em around for a while. I had a 2008 Mercedes c350 amg package that came out to 18gz salvage built sold it for 25gz after driving it for 6 months and putting 20k miles on it. I currently bought a salvage Evo 9 for pennies you could say and after adding up the parts I need its gonna close in about 8k and it only has 28k miles. Im sure I can sell it for more than 8k. Salvages are the way to go

Then I wish you luck, because your going tobe bidding against me. So either your gonna run the price up on me or I'm going to run the price up on you, either way I'm sure one of us or someone else will be very happy. I just wish I knew the mileage.............

salvage cars are not all that. and salvaged evos dont sell for very much. even after put back together. you will make decient money off of it if anything. not to mention you cant get a loan on a salvage car so one would have to have all the money up front unless your dumb enough to take out a personal loan. either way not worth it.

If I do end up with it, I don't plan on selling it. Plus when I lived in NW ohio I knew of 3 bank/credit unions that would give a regular loan on a salvage title car. But either way I just want another WW EVO

nah im just joking im not bidding on it but the reason its not starting is because its missing the battery and airbox I also noticed that some of the hoses are taken off. It does look like an insurance car and not a dealer car so it cant be that bad. Love the white and easy quick fix. As for the milage you wont find out till u pop a battry in.

If the air bags did not deploy you might be able to avoid a salvage title..and get a rebuilt title..The fact that its in a yard only means that the ins. company would not pay to repair it. The damage does not look bad..a friend of mine repaired much worse off evo..had to replace that entire qtr. pan. and trunk

The rear quarter panels indicate a rear end collision...no way to tell if the frame is bent. If you are looking to buy to rebuild and turn a profit then stay if its frame damage.

I know personally I would never buy a salvage title vehicle but I guess I'm a snob. I have thought about buying another Evo salvage and rebuilding it for ridiculous power.

Id go look at it in person if I were you. See if you can get under it and look for frame damage and while you're at it bring a battery and check mileage.

because people are naturally trusting by nature. I bought my evo off of ebay site unseen it was in PA im in LA so you just have to expect to fix a couple things once its all sorted it im sure the car will be a fun car again but to buy it to try and sell it after repair to me is risky in this economy

I agree. Others may be more financially available for that sort of thing though. Either that or they like taking risks.
