I just wana know what people love most and hate most about the the evo's and just name majore things that went wrong with the car, just name w.e you can off the top of your head and try to state the year i just recently got mine and im just trying to be prepared for things i might come across as a evo owner

Love : performance, the looks, the smile it gives me!

hate: gas milleage, how people think its a normal lancer i turboed!, the ghetto hvac knobs

no problems yet!!

 

Love: Handling, speed, just the rush of driving it.

Hate: Dash is too plain, turning radius, losing all my money to it.

It's an addiction!

 

gas milage is probably the ony one, if your winged maybe the attention it draws to cops, i live the HVAC controls as simple as they are. It could have came with a boost gauge for what we all payed too, and oil pressure/temp

 

Love: Speed,attention,carbon fiber
Hate: Gas mileage, and cost of parts and increase in insurance premium

Love my evo but spent four thousand fixing it three weeks after I bought it. Tranny failure.

Love: The HP and Performance are insane!!!

Hate: Turbo's and part's that can't take the pressure!!!

 

HATE: Where to start......4 door, ugly, sounds horrible, terrible interior, 4 cylinder, associated stereo types, creaks, rattles, notchy transmission, reliability....

LOVES: The way it drives, and that it puts a HUGE smile on my face whenever I drive it hard. Sometimes that's all that matters.

 

i hate how u guys are complaining about the parts pricing!!, i drive a aps twin turbo g35 on the side, THE EXHAUST IS 2 GRAND On It, thats crazy for an exhaust!!, compared to the 800 i paid for my turbo back!

 

Pros:

• Love the exhaust tone and the power/torque - keep in mind I switched over from an S2K.

Cons:

• Gas mileage is crap, even when ***** footing it.
• Factory stereo sounds like it belongs in a Chevrolet.

There's other things that I'm sure I'm forgetting but since I'm not driving the car, they aren't popping in my head.

 

Pros: 4WD, turbo, 4door.

Cons: Gas mileage, cheap interior

 

Love: AWD, styling, handling

Hate: blown TC, corrosion performance, and not enough $ to do what I want with it

 

Dealer parts cost an arm and a leg if you can get em at all.

 

Love - raw, undiluted performance and the lack of frills.

Don't love - wish the car was lighter.

 

Love= everything
Hate= nothing
Every car has pluses and minuses but this car by far out weighs all the minuses

 

Love the 500 Wtq on pump gas
hate that cuz of the eeevo im broke.
