2006 EVO IX dim headlights?

Not sure on the Evo because it does have a glass projector but many 55watt kits get to hot and tend to melt harnesses and housings .

I have also never been a fan of DDM because there Hid kits are not as bright , clear and pure as some of the other kits .

SIlverstar bulbs also tend to go out very rapidly .

There is definitely some improvement over stock. You don't get tthe "cool" factor of the bluish tint to the light color, but they are definitely better than stock. I need to align my headlights now so that they point out farther on the low beams.

That's wierd. I've never had headlights, or any conventional lightbulb get dimmer before blowing out or failing. Even so, with the trouble you're going to go through replacing the bulbs, upgrade to hids. I did and I love them.
