Not sure on the Evo because it does have a glass projector but many 55watt kits get to hot and tend to melt harnesses and housings .
I have also never been a fan of DDM because there Hid kits are not as bright , clear and pure as some of the other kits .
SIlverstar bulbs also tend to go out very rapidly .

another option is HIRs... I got mine from John Deere. They are brighter than stock, but not as bright as HIDs. They supposedly don't pull the amps that silverstars do, so they do not pose a risk to your wiring harness.
I switched my factory bulbs with silverstars (not ULTRA) but I still cant see on some roads...
