Debate on Gauges

Okay, well I am debating on what gauges I want to get.. I would like to go with 60mm gauges but I dont want to get def gauges due to the price. I know they are some of the better ones but my budget is not in the range for that. I need some recommendations on a boost gauge and a wideband to get and a third recommended gauge for my center console setup that I am getting. Thanks in advanced!

For the gauges, check out prosport. They have some pretty nice ones for the price range that they are in. For the wideband I just got the Innovate LC-1 from MAP for a pretty good price

If you are looking for less bling on a budget, look into Autometer gauges. Tried and true even among the professionals.

I would like them to look good tho! Trying to go for a red/amber look to go with the rest of the stuff in the car. I just dont want to kill myself with buying defi's when i know there are other products out there that perform just as well.

Yea, I've heard the good and the bad on the prosport gauges also. I was just saying if your on a budget they aren't too bad for the price that they are.

As far as the boost gauge goes, you could try the AEM truboost. Its a guage and boost controller in one......killing 2 birds with one stone. And, IMO, it looks great!

Have a a look at VDO, some of the most accurate and well-built gauges on the market. Reasonably priced, too. AFAIC, Defi isn't in the same sphere. If I hadn't opted for the factory gauges, VDO would be the only choice. Good luck.

I have Defi gauges in my Evo and Prosport gauges in my wife's WRX. The Prosport gauges are great, especially considering the price. Her boost gauge is actually accurate too unlike my Defi or Autometers I've owned.

Nope, it reads 2 psi high according to a dyno and my JDM 3.3-bar MAP sensor. My wife's Prosport reads dead-on with the dyno which my MAP sensor agrees with.

Spek is actually pretty good as well. I've had a lot of QC issues with Autometer. I see more gauges quantity wise than most people.

Anyone have any experience with Prosports wideband accuracy and reliability? Is it necessary to be able to log your AFR's? I have heard zeitronix is best in this regard but again they are expensive.
