wideband install

Im going to install my wideband soon and was wandering if putting the sensor at the front of the dp would be a bad idea? Im thinking of running the wire up the drivers side because im putting the gauge in my apillar pod or connecting it to the middle of the downpipe on the passenger side and running it through the passenger side firewall hole and through the bottom of the dash. What way would be better? or should the sensor be in the test pipe area for more accurate reading? thanks

There's a couple writeups on how to do this in the 'How To's' section, try searching in that section and I'm sure you'll find your answer fairly quick

its best to put it at the end of the downpipe. don't put it too close to the turbo as that will kill the wideband early. you can put it on the test pipe but the problem there is that the reading may be off if the flange in between the dp and test pipe is leaking.
check out the pictures on this link to have a better idea. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...r-install.html
