I weighed my EVO today and thought I would share the results. I have a good amount of weight reduction done to my EVO. Everything done and estimates of each item removed are listed below.

STOCK RS 3175lbs

-13 removed front bumper support (aka crash beam)
-17 removed rear bumper support (aka crash beam)
-11 removed IC sprayer reservoir
-37 removed spare tire, jack & tools
-35 from using TBE (WORKS DP, Buschur TP & Cat-back)
-1 steering column bracket
-5 removed headliner ( I dont want this to be missing. Trying to find a RS headliner to put in.)
-18 ETS min battery kit
-24 MR BBS (Stock EVO 8 Enkies w/ 245/45 tires weighed approx 44lbs. MR BBSs weighed 38lbs. w/ 235/45/17 tires)
-8 washer fluid reservoir

Est. Total removed =169

3175-169 =3006

And the actual weight..................

3005

Notes
*Weights are CAR ONLY, NO DRIVER
*Half Tank of Gas
*AC and pwr steering are still both installed
*A Stereo and four speakers are also installed (RS doesnt has a stereo or speakers from the factory)
*Car has a ETS 3.5 IC, which adds some weight over the stock IC
*Car is also missing under-tray and front fender well guards
*Car has JDM bumper, if that matters



Also checked the corner weights. The car only has WORKS Ride springs for the GSR/RS and a RRE Rear Sway.

Besides the missing headliner (which im trying to get back in), the car is full interior. AC and pwr steering are still both installed. A stereo and four speakers are also installed.

Also, the under hood looks completely STOCK, besides the Mini battery kit (which is a plain black one with no bling).

I don't think they'd fit in the seats....

 

when i weighed my 04 RS i have no front crash beam, (have) spare tire and jack, 3.5in IC, full tank of gas, added 4 speakers and CD player, 1.25 gallons of meth, and rest of mods are in sig, not much more weight reduction IMO...

i weighed in at 3101. Here are pics of scales.

 

good write up and weight reduction. i will look into removing my rear/front crash beams.

 

I believe my SSL is at 3179 with me in it. I will check my printout when I get home. This is with a 1/4 tank of gas.

No rear seats, front crash beam removed etc.

 

Could be heavens knows Boosted and is making a joke on his weight.
