I just got this evo last week and trying to figure out things. The door panels are leather and the seats are blue. Is this correct or did someone change the seats or door panels? And how would I know which is correct?

Looks like the person who had it before sold his SSL seats and got the less desireable VIII GSR Seats put in.

AKA. You got boned on your seats.

But, pictures and more info would be nice to confirm what model your Evo is.

What has already been said, your car is most likely an SSL that no longer has leather seats. Is your e-brake also leather?

 

I will check. Got a good deal so this is a mute point, but would be nice to know.

if you have a sunroof you should have leather seats

if you don't have a sunroof...chances are someone was starting to convert the car to leather interior and never bought seats

it does have a sunroof so I guess he took out the seats for profit or dislike of leather.

 

Oh well, save up for some Brides. Don't get those cheap-o ones though. Just make sure you keep leather conditioner on the back seats or they will dry out and look like hell. I do mine about once a week.

 

I have the blue seats. Driving my wife's WRX I am good for 50 miles before my back is hurting. In my Evo I drive all day in comfort. So, take a road trip before you make your decision.
