Ballast, Bulb, or Wiring (HID Problem)

So Im having some troubles with my HIDs. One shines bright white (the way its supposed to) and the other has recently changed to pinkish color (and does not shine nearly as bright). Sometimes that light doesnt even come on at all, so I turn the lights on and off a couple times to make it work. What's my problem? Also any suggestions on different HIDs (inexpensive but decent)?

Might be the plug that goes into the bottom of the headlight enclosure. I had one "go out" so I bought a new pair of bulbs just to find that didn't fix the problem. The connector on the bottom had just wiggled a little loose. Hopefully it will be this easy fix for you : P

When I bought my new hid fogs the drivers side with turn off and on by itself, I realized the conector was a little loose at the contacts, I shoved some small copper wires in the female side and all is fine since then.

This is common from my experience when inexpensive HIDs start to die. Unfortunately I didn't keep the vehicles long enough after the fact to even look into the problem; just replaced with the stock bulbs and sold within months (not because of the HID issue, just worked out that way).

I doubt it is the bulb and the wiring was all fine on my systems so I would put money on the cheap ballasts that most of the cheap kits run. Best of luck.

I think if your car was faster you wouldn't have this issue.
