Completely agree....after some debating haha

 

I had the JDM VIIs and now the MR VIIIs. It depends on the look you want. With stock or painted stock heads I would go VII because it will match better. I loved the VIIs when my car was pretty much stock looking. Now it has quite a bit to the exterior so the MRs flow better with the look. I also have MR heads too. I would not do the MRs in the rear without the heads as the amber looks goofy if it doesnt match IMO.

 

^ I agree. Good points all throughout. I'm kind of OCD especially about the exterior look so that's what I came to realize with mismatched tails and heads.

Although my heads are fogged/yellowed from sun...I have to get to refinishing them (hopefully) at some point
