The JDM one comes with steel wheels and no Brembos...

As far as no wing, it is assumed the buyer of an RS will change most of the stuff him/herself.

kinda pissed..... why couldnt they make it normal just like the regular Evo just fix up the problems..makes me pissed cuz i had my mind set on the normal Evo and now they come out with a better one where i cant afford it prolly worth $37,00- up.....wow im preety mad right now...

Dude, the RS is going to be cheaper than the normal EVO. Its sticker is supposed to be around 26k.

 

the RS is 87lbs lighter, and comes with a starting sticker of somewhere in 26k NEW. Also, you can get a special package to get A/C installed when you want to buy, and you can always pick up a spoiler, not liek you'll never be able to get a spoiler if you don't have it on purchase day. Its a good way to improve 1/4 time, its also been stated the RS , has quicker entry speeds and exit speeds in corners, and since its lighter will do 1/4 quicker too. so improvments in 2 major apsects, track and drag. I'd take it, and its even cheaper now, the best car for under 30k aproaches mid 20Gs.

 

There's an evo RS sitting in the service bay of HB Mitsubishi...i've seen it a couple times already. It's the red one that was at SEMA.

LSD in front is nice but im sure if you really wanted to put in 2003 EVO it would be do-able..

Ive heard every 100LBS you lose in car weight is about 1/10 of a second in the quarter mile...Not much

I love my HID lights ,I know its an option on the RS..Like AC, painted mirrors etc,last but not least most of the savings is from taking off all the sound dampening material,I already think the evo is a bit loud in the interior imagine now...


It is a great car,but I need my AC,HID painted mirrors etc etc...

All I have to say is roll up windows suck! So since the rs's are out on lots, does that mean there are 2004 models on lots now too?
