I love having cams went from HKS 272's to now the Kelfords with 900 rpm idle so it sounds even crazier. I love to start my car and warm her up at work in the corp parking garage next to all the execs exotic cars...lol

yea mine too. it's weird cause they aren't even considered mild IMO. Mild would be 272's and GSC S1's are only 268's.

I was told my car sounded like a boat and a concerned (drunk) citizen told me I needed a tune up in Ocean City last year.

I have heard other people say it before but this was my grandpas response-

Them- "sounds like your car is about to die"

Him- "nope, thats the sound of a car about to live"

Tell them that your flux capacitor is going out.
There are only two types of people: those who appreciate the thump of a good cam, and those that dont. I say to hell with the ones that dont.

AFter 2 years I just tune the sound out. Other people remind me that I have cams. Reminds me of a harley at a red light just way quieter.

The thing is I have the Megan catback on mine and it seems to kinda blend the exhaust together so its not so thumpy with my S2's - anyone else notice this?

I have gotten that since I installed my cams in 2006. Tards!! I normally respond with, "It's cool when a V-8 does it, but it must be broke when a I-4 lopes?!" I also still get ppl asking the dumb question, "Your car is still running?" when I get out and the TT is counting down.
