I've never heard a cammed EVO before... Sounds like you guys have it rougher than me, I get nothing but compliments on the Camaro

 

I even have the HKS 272's and they are a little lopey at idle, even though they are a pretty mild cam. My girlfriends Dad told me yesterday I should get it checked out. I said yeah, and agreed. No need to tell him... just an unnecessary conversation

 

I just tell them it's camshafts.

Your tuner should help you with that. It's an agressive cam for sure. If you raise the idle a lil bit it will for sure help.

everyone I work with have decided that my car sounds like a john deere tractor. I have Hks 272s with a low idle. I personally love the sound and would hate to have an evo that sounds like a honda.

Yes normal ppl think my car is possibly broken I offer them a ride
