evo wont stay running
almost forgot...
also curious if, during times it stays running sluggishly, does it sputter ("phrrrrrr" sound)? if so, check to be sure your plugs are ok and are gapped correctly. also see if the coil pack and plug wires are fine.

did u check for vacum leaks on the intake manifold manifolds u may have a brust vaccum line and check the maf sensor to see if it is reading the incoming air properly. trouble shoot there areas., and the tps too
the first time i had these issues i could get it to run sluggish when i disconnected the IAC motor. this most recent time i cant get it to stay running no matter what i do unless i constantly have my foot on the throttle.
i have my other bov which is the APS twin vent. I think im going to hook that back up and recirculate it to see if that fixes the problem. i probably wont be able to do that until this weekend so i will keep everyone posted and let you know what comes from it.
i havent had any messages regarding an evo with these problems!
cb
ill have to look at the fuel pump fuse. yes i do have a friend that can bring home a scanner and read the codes. the only problem is after reseting the battery i cant get the car to throw another code.
id be more than happy to do that....however it may be a while. my car is in the shop right now for body work because of an accident that happened over the weekend. as soon as i get it back ill take a video of the problem!
for those of you who were wondering what was wrong with my car I finally got it fixed! It turned out to be a few issues. The biggest problem was a firing issue with my spark plugs. We took the old ones out and put a new set in. The car would finally stay idling but very sluggish. We adjusted the throttle and the car is back to running like a champ again!
Just thought I would share with everyone that was following this.

ok so i thought the problem with my car was fixed haha but its not
. the mechanic working on my car now thinks it might be MAF sensor related. they said my MAF sensor is not reading the correct temps. the car does not stay running in the cold weather in the morning but as the day goes on and the temp outside heats up they said it starts up fine and stays idling like a champ. does this sound like its my MAF sensor?
