almost forgot...

also curious if, during times it stays running sluggishly, does it sputter ("phrrrrrr" sound)? if so, check to be sure your plugs are ok and are gapped correctly. also see if the coil pack and plug wires are fine.

the first time i had these issues i could get it to run sluggish when i disconnected the IAC motor. this most recent time i cant get it to stay running no matter what i do unless i constantly have my foot on the throttle.

i have my other bov which is the APS twin vent. I think im going to hook that back up and recirculate it to see if that fixes the problem. i probably wont be able to do that until this weekend so i will keep everyone posted and let you know what comes from it.

for those of you who were wondering what was wrong with my car I finally got it fixed! It turned out to be a few issues. The biggest problem was a firing issue with my spark plugs. We took the old ones out and put a new set in. The car would finally stay idling but very sluggish. We adjusted the throttle and the car is back to running like a champ again!

Just thought I would share with everyone that was following this.

ok so i thought the problem with my car was fixed haha but its not . the mechanic working on my car now thinks it might be MAF sensor related. they said my MAF sensor is not reading the correct temps. the car does not stay running in the cold weather in the morning but as the day goes on and the temp outside heats up they said it starts up fine and stays idling like a champ. does this sound like its my MAF sensor?
