IAC Valve question

I have a spare IAC that I took off my car due to idling issues (the IAC wasn't the problem). Does anyone have a diagram for the IAC plug so I can test it? I want to make sure it's a good IAC valve before I sell it. I guess I just need to know what pins I need to hook a power and a ground to.

Thanks

I was told if you disconnect it from the TB and leave the wires/harness on it and put the key to the on position (maybe crank it over??) you should hear/see the shaft move/turn if it is still good.

Give that a shot...

**confirm this before attempting...**

Thank you. I was leaning more towards just somehow giving it power via 12v battery. The valve has 6 pins but as far as I know it should only need power and a ground to actuate.

I'm aware of the suggestion you mentioned though. Thanks for the input.

Thank you Evoryder, I'll try this out tomorrow tomorrow when there's more light and after my hangover wears off.

Thanks again.
