What should be my next upgrade

Megan Racing Manifold

JVT O2 Housing

Blitz Digital Compact Dual Turbo Timer

Greddy Ti-C Exhaust

Injen intake system

HKS SSQV BOV

What should I do next? All the parts are still in the garage just waiting to be put on but since my car is at the dealer getting a new trans put in they obviously can't be put on atm. What other parts should I go with next? (Perhaps list the part and brand?) I should get my car back next this week and next week will be taking it to get a tune. Thanks for suggestions.

When I started upgrading my Evo at the beginning. Doing stuff like exhaust & intake I felt the biggest power from cams. I think you should do some 272 cams. You'll feel the power right away.

It was bogging down in first gear and grinding every time going into 5th. The 1st gear bogging down was most annoying, it was like I was stalling but I really wasn't. For instance if I wanted to back into a parking space using first and reverse to get into the spot every time I jumped out of R into 1st the rpms would bog down to like 400 and the car would what seemed to almost die (but never did).

Anyway warranty covered it and the tran is on the way

Updated mods. What's a solid boost controller?

I currently have my stock piping welded to a HKS Hi Power Muffler. Should I go ahead and keep that on and just resell the Greddy system or would ou forumies recommend putting the Greddy system on.

you can get an electronic, or manual boost controller or ecuboost control. i just have a dual stage manual boost setup, cuz im poor and it works fine. lol

i dont think you need that race manifold, you dont need the bov as our cars dont like to vent to atmosphere. get a downpipe and put that other exhaust on and with that o2 housing itll be much better flow than the hks welded to the skinny stock piping. licp will help plenty too.
most important thing is a tune though. i suggest you put as many parts as you can at the same time and then tune, so that way you dont have to tune and then retune everytime you put a part on. good luck.

heres what i did: fuel pump, drop in, downpipe, mbc, exhaust, test pipe, and then a butt tune.
then i went: intake, intercooler, intercooler piping, injectors, converted to dual mbc, cams, clutch, then a dyno tune.

basically i put **** in so that ill be prepared for the next step slowly. but think im good with what i have. next in store is a new car. lol

What is vent to atmosphere and what would you recommend as replacement for the long run.

vent to atmosphere is when the blowoff vents to atmosphere as in pshhhhhh!!! lol you want it to recirculate back like the stock setup. so you can get a ix bov or any aftermarket one that is good and has an option to recirculate back.

Should this guy be modding his car without any basic knowledge. Read the modding for dummies thread. Search and search and then search again.
