i can agree, plus the carpet quality is low grade, lightweight but low grade. u think the lancer has the same carpet? or same carpet part number?

I am not sure. But is it black? I just want a black carpet that is molded for the Evo. I would think lancer and Evo carpets are the same.

My driver floor mat hook is ripping out of the floor causing the floor mat to move all over the place. Sucks

i've replaced carpets in cars and it's not molded so much as there are certain areas cut out to fit the stuff like center console, seabelts, seat holes, etc., etc. i'm sure if you get some quality carpet made for a car, you can just cut out what you need for it to fit. i am curious too, as i would be interested in upgrading to a black carpet.

Checked all the major direct fit replacement carpet places and none of them have a Lancer or Lancer Evolution application.

They do make carpet paint (dupli-color, 3D Auto) that actually turns out pretty good dad and I have used it on some older model stuff.

You can also send it out to get professionally dyed any color you want

I put a regular Lancer carpet in an Evo and it was close but not exact. didnt fit right in the rear seat floorboard area mainly in the rear corners. it was ok but not an exact fit.

Agree, the original carpet is like paper.
The floor mat stays in place, on the carpet, but the carpet moves around like it is on marbles!
