Will a VIII oil return line work on a Evo IX turbo? After searching apparently they are different lengths.

I need to know if anyone out there is using an IX/fp green/ or red etc with a VIII oil return line.

I am using A FPWhite on my 03 and I used all the existing lines except the feed. I got a -4 SS line with it

Mitsubishi only sells one oil return line for the VIII's & IX's now, but originally they were different.

 

i reused my evo8 oil return line when i swapped to evo9 turbo, it worked!

Maybe it depends what year Evo 8 you have

 

I believe when I did my 8 to FP Green swap, a little bending of the line got it to fit.

My bad, that was the oil feed line...

i had an 03 evo8 so maybe that is why my oil return line fit on the evo9 turbo. Hmmm

I know for a fact that I have an 03 Evo, I also know for a fact I have an evo IX frame FPWhite and I re-used the stock return line that came with my car when it was brand new.
