RWD conversion kit

Is there any companys out there selling a kit which enables the Evo to be RWD? I read that you can buy a axle delete kit which replaces certatin parts in the transfer box but can't find any companys or any further info on this.

There was a RWD Evo at some of the local drift events near me, but they changed the direction that the engine was mounted. Looked like a big job.

I'm sure I read a article once that Rhys millen racing made a kit of some description that was fitted to the transfer box to direct all the power to the back but can't find anymore info on it and tried to phone and email them and can never get through.

That piece allows a gm transmission to be bolted onto the 4g63 which is good for a engine conversion but I'm looking for something that would simply convert the standard gearbox/ transfer box to run RWD.

This might be a good idea but i'm guessing the cost will be a lot.

To be honest from the little info I've seen about this I don't think it would be too costly its just knowing what to do a guy over here in the uk took his box out and welded something up in the centre diff and it worked but I was hoping that a company made some kind of kit that could be fitted into the centre diff/transfer box but unfortunately it's not looking like there's anything out there.

This has been done many times in the subie community, my buddy did it to his 02 wrx......The concern is how much power the x-case and RR diff is going to support with 100% of the power....

The best way for big power is to longitudinally mount the motor to a RWD gear box and diff.
