+1 I would like to know too.. I plan to get one but would it fail in high temperature. Say on a hot day on a track or daily commute? I live in SoCal right now. The weather isn't so bad but I know it gets pretty hot in some of the areas Plus 90% sun weekly on a black evo. hmm...

the hotter it is outside, the louder the fuel pump will whine. also i wouldnt run the tank below 1/4 tank when its hot out since it makes the pump run hotter and could cause it to fail after a while. the fuel is what cools these down

Maybe it's not.

Mine is also really loud. Walbaros whine. Sometimes it means they are on their way out, and then sometimes you just have a loud pump.

Mine does to, but that is because it is an aftermarket fuel pump. I will be getting a double pumper soon as I complete my build, then it will wine louder.

Same here for me too. I've been using the walbros for some time now and that's something you won't get rid off. I can tell you though that the pump will last much longer if you keep the tank at 1/4 and above. It seems as if higher gas levels keeps it much cooler thus lowering the noise it makes. I can barely hear my pump on a full tank.

^its just good practice to keep the car above 1/4 tank. the pump will run cooler and it will keep you from leaning out when the fuel is splashing around. Most tuners say not to build boost under 1/4 tank for that reason.
