Idle issue

This just started. When i drove and get teh car over 3k. When I slow down to a stop and go into neutral the cars stays at 2800 rpms. I have to tap the gas to get it to go back down. Anythoughts? I have a custom tune ETS LICP Works TR340 kit.

i had a whole sh!tload of idle problems when i cleaned my throttle body. it would do the same thing yours would do, but it would hunt and almost die also. i reset the computer, but it didn't get better until 200 miles later when it finally compensated. by then i ordered a boomba. check your tps and make sure the voltage is ok and adjusted correctly. it could also be a leak, (vaccuum or unmeterd air), or the iac motor. search "idle" and some guy has a thread on how to reset the idle. you can try that too. good luck.

Thanks!!! ITs weird just out of the blue. Tonight. the only things I have changed is the addition of a LICP and MBC. ONly thing I can think of at the moment is I didn't cap one of teh nipple off the stock boost solenoid. I also have an upgraded throttle body.. This is just odd that its just started..

Be sure the throttle cable isn't sticking. Move the throttle by hand and be sure the cable doesn't catch....if you have to assist the throttle to close the last bit, then that is what is causing the high idle....then pin point cable or TB problem
