As long as it is unleaded, yes it can run on 100 octane.

But unless you have your ECU reprogrammed to take advantage of the additional octane, it's mostly just a waste of expensive gas. Just mix it with 91 till you have 94-95 octane.

on your stock evo, you wouldnt get any more power over 94. If you get a fuel computer, you could lean it out a lot more before getting knock with 100 octane.

Neadless to say, if you just ran 100 octane, on your stock evo, the only good thing you would be doing is basically cutting any chance of knock out.

This is why we at Dyno Flash test everything before we open our mouth !

For example we have tested 6 different cam combinations to find the best one

Here we have A - B testing of the same STOCK car with regular 91 pump gas and then 116 race fuel

Obviously the ecu gets less knock signal and then runs more timing = more power

Its important to TEST and VERIFY before you state facts

Al that rocks! Mitsu did us right on the computer, so any reflash / piggy back just put in the good gas and have fun!

I run 101 unleaded mixed with 1/4 tank of 91 octane...we poor bastages in AZ don't get anything above 91...I feel a bit of difference with 101 octane. Runs much better, and feels stronger. And it states in the manual to run 100+ octane if possible. I get a lot of knocking when I run just 91...101 isn't cheap, but it's worth it IMHO...

I don't think the poster was interested in knowing how cat-poisoning leaded gas would perform compared to 91 - have you done any 91 vs. 94 tests?

Exactly - you notice the bigger gains come at the end of the run when the ecu really adds in big timing
