mods no dyno tune= very noticeable lag?

I have a 2006 evo 9 mr
mods are as follows
-720cc Injectors.
-Perrin Fuel Rail.
-HKS Twin Power Ignition.
-Perrin Exhaust With HKS Muffler.
-Tubular Headers.
-Greddy EC01 Boost Controller.
-AEM Wideband, Prosport Boost and Oil Gage (all installed in dash.)
-Walbro fuel pump.
-Cosworth Stage 1 Cams.
-Injen Intercooler Piping/Intake.
-A/M Front Mount.
-FP Green Turbo.
- Mini Battery Kit.
-Greddy Oil Catch Can.
pushing 22-23 psi, the car has been road tuned but has never been on a dyno

i heard the green's are one of the quickest spool out of the fp turbos but the car has lag issues..... will a tune fix this? any suggestions?

Please describe your lag issues in more detail. It could be an issue with your boost controller. Also keep in mind that tubular headers tend to shift the powerband to the right.

downshift then you will have no lag...what you mean by lag issues, when does the turbo hit full boost (rpm wise)??

turbo starts to spool about 3.7k, doesnt hit full boost till about 4.8-5k rpm
and i dont know a lot about turbos and boost controllers so can you tell me what shifting the powerband to the right means?

a proper tune can definitely help. get that thing on a dyno and professionally tuned! i would never trust a "road tune" with that much done. at least get some logging done and post up the info.

then you are fine the fp green usually starts to spool around 3.5 and hits full at 5. i dont know what shifting power to the right means but tubular manifolds tend to flow more exhaust and flow a lot better than cast manifolds, which should def help your green spool. If this is your first turbo car then such things as turbo lag is normal.

hahaha you are wrong because the road tune is the best tune ever most of the tuners out there will tune the car on the dyno then take it on the road to do to the finishing touch ups of the tune. Nothing can replace the real condition drivings on a road, and thats why the tuners do that.

Shifting the powerband to the right just means like instead of your power band being 3000rpms to 7000rpms its 4000rpms to 8000rpms.

Those are just numbers Im pulling outta my *** but you get the idea.

dyno tunes and road tunes both have their places..... dyno tunes are great for hitting hard to reach cells on the street but a road tune is necessary to get a real idea of what the car needs when actually moving through the air.

Sounds like your tune just sucks... does your tuner even have access to a dyno?

tune done by previous owner...... I'd run to the nearest pro you can find and get a decent tune.
