how did you guys wire up your AEM analog boost gauge?

heres how i did it and its not working 100%

i took the 2 red (pwr) wires and spliced them into a constant power source within the radio harness.

i took the ground wires and connected them to a good ground source.

i took the grey and pink wire and connected them to the blue/yellow wire within the radio harness

as for the vacuum source my RS came with the OEM boost gauge so i just used that existing vac line.

the gauge lights up fine. when the car is turned on it sweeps counter clockwise like it says it should but then just stays at 0. it doesnt read vacuum nor boost. im not sure if i have the pink wire is wired up to the correct power source because it says it has to be a 5amp source that is in the On, Run, and, Crank position or if i need to tap into another vac source. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

adam
