i love doing my own work, mostly because it gets done to my standards, and have nobody to blame but myself if something goes wrong. then i fix it and its all the more worth it.

but i wish i could just drop off a car at a shop and do a 50k build sometimes lol

Agree I hate people touching my cars as of bad experiences in the past and have done all the work myself except for cams, valve springs, and clutches because to me those are worth getting done by a professional but everything else turbo, intercooler, etc I do myself and enjoy doing it myself

I did all the work on my car to date, with help from freinds at times. My buddy Adam (whitey4D on here) helped me with the cams. Paid for tunes of course. I think I am going to let CBRD do the head studs and head gasket though. I just want to let that one to the pros. I may pay a buddy who owns a hot rod shop to do the Whiteline roll center kit too as I just dont feel like dealing with the hassle even though I know I can do it. But then I will do the coilovers and set it up before aligning.

I do almost all my own work. Did have the 60K maintenance done at my cousins shop when I was working 12hrs a everday of the week. I didn't want to screw anything up being tired...

I wish I had a lift in my garage.

I enjoy doing my own work but sometimes time and resources don't allow it

ultimately, I'll always pay for time consuming or difficult tasks as I would rather have it done professionally and not have to worry about it.

guezz dude what parts are you buying LOL only cost 25k for the average full build with labor. lol if your good you can pull it off for 20k or so. 50k+ your just sinking to much money into the project.

I did almost everything myself from turbo swaps/cams/fuel pump/suspension work installs, electronics, the only thing i let the shop do is clutch and engine internals, and tune (since i dont trust myself on that)
