Holy Crap!!!

My car is making the same sound. It only happens when I go in reverse then I go foward (sometimes). If sounds like a grinding noise when I start out from a stop but goes away after that. I thought it was a throw-out bearing or something causing my clutch to engage strangly. I took it to the dealership and they found nothing wrong. I also have a problem when I depress the clutch quickly in reverse it sounds like my flywheel is wobbling inside the tranny, does anyone else have this noise?

 

those of you saying you hear it in a turn and near the rear of the car point me to a rear diff issue. perhaps not enough fluid in the rear diff or something not built properly on your rear diff.

because when you turn the outside wheel and inside wheel in the rear will be rotating at different speeds so it would be a noticeable time for a rear diff issue to surface.
