EVO8 no AFM meter?

Ok, i bought a HKS Pod filter... started removing all the stock filter and the box. Then I realised I don't have an AFM? This was an import from singapore here in New Zealand so I'm quite perplexed how the heck the evo runs with out it. Shed me some light please? thanks

The MAF is bolted to the stock air box, there should be a electrical plug that plugs into it also.

I'll post a photo and a video as well that the car runs without a MAF or AFM.

Unless the car has AEM on it and has been previously modified, I don't see any way this could be possible.

I think I figured why... Its because I have a PFC D-jetro. Is this correct?

PowerFC D-jetro is a complete StandAlone replacement ECU that could use speed-density(with a MAP sensor) so yeah it could be the reason why the factory MAF was removed.
