Ideally using dish soap isn't good for car paint. It 'dries' it out. So you should wash with good car soap, clay it if possible, then wax.

 

Yes, don't use dish soap!!! I hate it when people **** with other peoples cars. There's absolutely no respect anymore. At least it didn't get keyed like mine :-/

 

i had mine egged a few years ago and it happened on a day when i had the next day off and i didnt leave the house at all that day. So i have a couple chipped circle marks on the driver side. Thank fully most hit the windows.
