Are you the original owner?
I bought mine new in Feb. 2006, had 6 miles on the odometer... had to purchase it without getting a test drive... bold move but I knew it was what I wanted even tho i had never driven an Evo. First (and only) brand new car I have ever owned...
Original owner 2006 IX GSR purchased 11/06. The car is basically stock at 58-K miles. The few changes are: K&N drop in filter, Prosport gauges with radio relocate, and catch cans.
I replaced the clutch at 41-k because my lying dealer told me it was going. I had the job done at Dogbox who told me the old clutch was perfect; but I would not put back a used clutch and replaced it. The original wheels are perfect and the Advans ok. I also picked up a new set of
OZ Nova ( evo VII ) wheels in 2007 and have them with Goodrich KDWS for winter use.
I am presently 58 and use but abuse the Evo. Never crashed, but does have all the little chips that 58-k miles gets. May sell it next year because I am thinking about a new Vette.
If I do someone will get a great unmodified and unabused Evo.

Love my evo!
I'm the original owner and I de-virginized this beatiful girl on July 1, 2006. I bought it from Manchester, NH and had actually found this car looking at another car through cars.com.
Til this day I still sit and stare at the car. I love it.

I bought mine new in April 2004, and still love it to this day! It has been a rock solid car from the start, and even after 125k miles and 30+ track days, the thing runs stronger than ever. Stock turbo and bottom end, it's all in the tune...
Purchased my 2003 Evo VIII brand new in February 2004.
Has 122,000 miles and no problems. I've been everywhere... up and down the east coast in this car. I baby the car now... only drive it on my days off and wash it every time I drive it. Want to keep the car as clean as possible. It's got nothing to prove any more and it's one of the best performance cars out there.

I'll probably keep it and pass it down to my kid one day.
