Are you the original owner?

How many owners has your car had? How long have you had it? Tell us about the history of your Evo.

im the original owner for mine. ive had it since january 2006 and its sitting in the parking lot with 38,899. not much history with the car, just recently modified it and had it tuned. i learned to tune it myself and just decided to pay 4ws to do it for me so i would stop logging the car constantly

Original owner and daily driver, since June '03. I'm so addicted to this car its not even funny. Right now, the cylinder head is in for a stage III upgrade, after the rocker arms fell off at an auto-x. I've never been more miserable (but lucky) to have my Mother's Toyota Avalon to drive in the meantime. Getting Kelford 272's and a new tune, when its back! Cannot wait!

Original owner 2006 MR. I bought it brand new in mid 2007 in Denver, Co while I was on mid-tour leave from Iraq. I put a few hundred miles on then went back to Iraq. When I returned to NC my wifes dad trailered it down there for me. It's got 32K miles on it now and we recently just moved to Colorado so the car is back where it came from. Lots of bolt ons and lots of parts waiting to go on and I'll never get rid of the car just like the focus I have that I bought back in 2001.

Basically my car was bought brand new by a 60 year old man in New York. He traded it in last year for a Benz and it only had 27K miles on it. I got it from a second hand dealer that specialized in higher end cars for 18K. Still had the original dealer window sticker in the glove box

I bought my first Evo in February 2006, then I upgraded to a IX SE in February 2007. Both were new at the time of purchase with 4 miles on them.

Well, I don't feel like a sorry bastard for buying a new Evo IX SE when I did... at $29,995 plus fees.

Purchased mine new in Feb. 2007, IX SE, TB, with 4 miles on it, 13 after my test drive. Just turned 40,000 mi., never had a problem. Lightly modded=TBE, intake, MBC, Walboro. Swapped in MR bilstien with Swift springs. Some other small stuff s.s. brake lines, shifter bushings, ect. Change my own oil/filter every 3000 mi. and tranny/differentail fluids every year. Planning on keeping till death.

I disagree, no salesman needed to talk me into buying it. I already knew I wanted it.
