No good. Keep us posted on estimates, and get us pics of the exhaust. Sounds like you got hit hard enough to cause some damage further up the line. Hope everything works out ok.

go to the doc, but be sure to cordinate with your insurance company. The auto insurance should cover it all. Keep all the paper work and keep track of the time you spent going there, so on and so forth.

take out the carpets in the trunk. make sure the trunk is still straight. the crumple welds have got to be messed up from that.

I will do that tomorrow, anything else I should be looking for?? I doubt I will be able to tell if enough force was transferred to the front of the car through the exhaust to know if it is damaged, Ill leave that to the shop.

Trunk appears to be fine opens and closes but Ill move the carpet and take a look...
Progressive called me while i was at the doctor getting checked out and he said he will call me tuesday to start the claim... I will need a rental car because I am not driving it with that noise so I need to call and fight for one or try to go thru my insurance i guess.

Looking at that bend in your exhaust, before the test pipe. Make sure that your downpipe and exhaust manifold are ok. Appears to have hammer all that **** forward pretty hard.

Dont touch the car leave it just the way it is. I have to ask you a question are you in good health? after being in an accident period make sure you got x-ray tests to damage and try to get plenty of rest and medical therapy to recouperate. Dont lift anything and dont work on the car until the court case is settled.

Sorry about the accident. same thing happened to me at about the same speed with about the same damages. I got 8 bulging discs from it but cant fight it in court because i was in an accident when i was 10 even though the A-hole was texting and driving. But progressive hooked me up with a JDM rear, HKS carbon TI catback and IX MR tails haha. Glad you're ok. Just document everything and be sure not talk to the drivers insurance co and you should come out on top.
