Do it. but be easy on it, As long as it has some flow just get it there as quick as u can, If you stop at a light turn it off while it sits, It's gonna burn a little for the exhaust valves but you should be able to do it without damage. If the exhaust is completely shut or pretty much shut then tow it.

Did you get all the insurance info? Good luck with everything. Be sure to keep calling the insurance company to push the process along. It took months to get sorted when I got rear-ended and I was on the phone following up everyday.

Definitely take the exhaust off to make sure it doesnt drag if it is. if you see something being caught in the on the drivetrain call a tow .

Im at work now... pictures dont really do it justice but ill post some tomorrow anyways.. bumper is destroyed and the brackets that mount the bumper are bent. Also looks like the gap between the wheel and wheel well is much smaller, I have no idea what that noise was but a buddy said it sounded drive train related.... getting it towed was a terrible experiance watching the winch pressure my lip. Ill call progressive tomorrow (the other drivers' insurance) and try to get the ball rolling... I wonder if they will play a bunch of games like they did when I got ran over 5 years ago on my motorcycle..

Definatly need a new exhaust at least from the axle back it is bent and un bendable back... I am also worried there may have been damage all the way to the engine... I mean if the xhaust connects to it and the end was hit at 25+mph wouldnt that put some serious force on it?

Im really bummed... Ill look at where I can order a JDM bumper and probably just do it now so I can get this done ASAP.. i heard there is a local place but they dont come painted and Ill want one pre painted stock black.

I would get the drivetrain sound under wraps and checked over. Then the bumper makes no sense to have her lookin pretty if shes standing still. Why the hell did that guy rear end you was he paying attention at all. Or was it becasue of som idiot ahead that stopped short.

Guy ahead of me was a brand new 2010 yamaha R6 .. he stopped a little harsh as did I, but nothing major, I looked back and saw there was no way she was going to stop so I went to grab my e-brake.... Right when I got my hand on it she hit me and I pulled it, I thoguht for sure I wAs going to take out the biker but it was less than an inch from his tire...

she just got her brakes done said they were all screwed up... cop gave her a ticket though. Im going to the DR tomorrow I have had a headache since this who knows if it is from being so mad or pain... or both.

/sigh

Im really bummed. I know they are going to fight me and try to pay minimal and I am not looking forward to a 3 month fight till I get can get my baby running

If you pulled the e brake before impact you may have just tore off the material from the inner brake shoes. Who knows to be honest with you. Got her all checked out and let us know what happens. GL.
