stupid question but i dont know the answers so...whats wrong with 7500 with 272? please enlighten me because i have comp 280's and i bring them into low 8s sometimes

It's called valve float... Kelfords have 11.0mm of lift. Only one of your Comp cams has 11.0mm of lift. Also springs are recommended for your cams.

Bring them to 8K a couple of times, then do a cylinder leakdown test.

from ur power level id say ur still stock block, and if it was build that is deff somthing to mention bec u could get more money in selling the car or somthing the buyer should know..

350 @ 21psi seems stock block IMO

n if u have kelford 272's revving to 8k or under ur fine, ive been doing it for 2 years just about now.. just get headstuds n ur fine

maybe you can find a shop who can remove spark plugs and look inside with a borescope to check your pistons

^ not too sure if that would help too much due to carbon build up on the tops of the pistons, maybe if they were super fresh it would help...

well i bought the car with 69,500 miles and its just over 72,000. The motor was still being broken in when I bought it so it is pretty fresh
