E85 or c16?

Ok here is my story.
I picked up my 06 gg evo about a month ago from a dealership. Went through the car and seemed solid, no drivetrain noises or anything out of place and had 349xx miles on it. Car had mods and most stuff was obvious. Now was able to find the old owner and got a list of mods and what not. Car has AMS FMIC, Turbo xs turbo back, DNP stock manifold, DNP o2 housing. INjen upic and licp and intake, boost controller, 255 Walbro intank, Acttp clutch, and a ttp tune. Car has some crappy gauges in it that are coming out and all AEM gauges are going in and doing some other basic stuff.

Now here is my problem:
I work a lot in the bahamas and will be gone for sometimes up to a month at a time. So i am debatin on wether to do an e85 fuel system and retune or do 93 and c16 tunes. Diirk @ AWD will most likely be doing the tune which I was planning on gettin retuned anyway but wondering which way to go about it. I have seen the problems that some people have with e85 and dont kno how long it will last when it sits so trying to figure it out.

Also, Im not worried about the price of the c16 since i put maybe 1000 miles on the car a month and wont really be driving that much anyway.

Anybody got any input?

I would do a basic for 93 and then one for whichever you can get a hold of more based on what you said.

Yeah i mean i would like to do E85 but wondering what would happen if the car sits for a month. The tank will never be full but still if i get stuck at work i dont want to have to drain the tank and all that stuff

When you store anything you'll want as little fuel as possible in the tank. I vote E85, I've had over 3yrs experience in E85 and have converted countless people to E85. I've never had any issues minus cold starts in the winter. I've had E85 sit in my tank for 3 months without being started once. When it was time to start......zero issues.

I would do an E85 tune if it's available to you. Unless you put on a boat load of miles like I do.

Give it a shot, it won't take a toll on your o2 sensors as race gas will. E85 burns clean!

E85 if it's easy to find in your area.

I leave E98 in my car for 6+ weeks at a time sometimes. All seems to be well so far - there's always fuel in the tank 24/7/365 anyway, I can't see how it's different just sitting there in a closed system. The ethanol gas cans I have sitting on plastic above the concrete just to play that safe though. To the OP - forget about C and go E all the way. Maybe get a E and pump gas tune?

Yeah availability is not a problem plenty of stations around. I will probably be going E85 whenever I go for a retune. All i need is the injectors so not that big of a deal. And as long as people are fine having it sitting for a while in their tanks then thats all i need
