Never any bull **** with BR. Just results, they know there ****. I been up there several times, and he comes off as a little short sometimes, but he knows what to do to get what you want with what you have. Or help you get your goals reliably. Maybe thats why he has so many cars still running strong longer. Made in USA, Built in USA, and good at what he does. Never left disappointed or had one problem on my 4hr drive home. Or years later. So please dont take his advice anyone, he's only been at it for 20 yrs., and his record proves his abilities. Go suck the tit of your tuner or mechanic, maybe they know more.
They might be ase certified to screw up anycar.
I'm not a nut swinger, but give some respect. He's trying to help out with what he knows and has done.

I truly hate to continue on with you R/T but you are talking about extensive mods with the FOUR examples I posted and you post a link to THAT!? Hahahahahaha. Hell at least the examples I put up use a 4g63 block! Magnus intake, speed density, modded MIVEC gear......yeah now your examplenis a mild build! Hahahahahaha

Dude, please go back to wherever you work and leave the EVO stuff to someone else. Hahaha

You've shown us one example that made over 500whp on 93 octane...and ironically it was your own car.

Did you look up the price on an AVL test cell with a Horiba AC dyno yet dave? Blow your mind? Ever heard of a Kistler in cylinder pressure transducer? I bet it costs more than your bad bish. lol.
Dont pick and choose your dyno sheets Ernie.. You know already that daves MD reads around 13% lower than the dynojet.. Not to mention this graph you posted below was done on a day that had a High of 44 degrees at ER and was UNCORRECTED.. As far as the Kistler transducer NOBODY CARES WHAT IT COSTS.. NOBODY cares where you work or how much education you have because at the end of the day you are Pm'ing Dave and Myself for help always so dont pretend to know anything abou tthis subject 1st hand.. You know what you read on the internet.. you havent DONE anything..

Just because I don't own a shop doesn't mean I don't do work, fab, race, and tune cars. Maybe... I'm not vain enough to run around with my accomplishments in my signature.

I'm perfectly happy not being the worlds fastest anything.

And for the Record I had an FP Red with and without the surge cover. I tuned it on 92 and c16. It made 540whp uncorrected on a Dynojet. I know...with the mods that I had the car was a LONG way from 500whp on pump gas. IIRC I made 440whp on 92. I think its a bit misleading to think that a Red is going to make 500whp on pump. There are far more examples of 500whp with a Black than with a Red.

I would venture to say that I've put more miles on an FP red setup than the both of you combined. owned, drove, raced, tuned... myself. Not someone elses car.

Ill dig thru a bunch of me 3500 PM's and find them if your memory is failing you and no it wasn't for pricing. it was for technical help on a combination of parts.. You have no choice but to happy with where you are sitting right with your car.. You have done nothing 1st hand to warrant the attitude you have.. Wanna be cocky, go out and do something yourself.. Not fill your signature with people you associate who have done things.. Thats the different between myself, you and Dave.. Your a cheerleader and nothing more..

I got my 6262 finally... and I'm figuring I'll need 9k worth of rev's. I see your point...alum rods are around 500-600 bucks and the carillo's are 1000... I could definitely get further in the build for the same amount of money with an aluminum rod.

let me also make the above post clear.. I have no problem helping people out with questions and 1000s of members can vouch for that on here.. I answer everyones questions while 90% of them buy from whoever is cheaper after taking my advice..

My issue with ernie is he KNOWS EVERYTHING already so why is he asking me trivial questions??

Looks like I was asking about core dimensions.... specifically widths. Since I do fabricate my own end tanks on my intercoolers... I was curious what the width was. As only soo many intercoolers come in 22" widths. The Buschur core is the Garrett Core...which doesn't come in 22" widths.

Curious why you always jump to an aluminum rod engine instead of using a steel rod. I assume its becuase you can't keep rod beaings in the car. It was a pointed question.... "why can't you keep rod bearings in your engines if you're only making 700whp?"

Another example of a leading question... you're generating an excessive bearing load revving the engine that high. Maybe a reason why you have to run aluminum rods because you're beating the crap out of your rod bearings.

You recommended Supertech's. I haven't ran supertech's before... Just Ferrea, BC, Crane, Comp cams, and Crower. I ended up running the Kiggly Springs not the supertech's
Great examples of me desperately begging (or as dave would say... GRASPING) for advice.

btw...the people in my sig are people that I've done business with that I recommend. It used to be in my signature, but the mods removed it.
