RPMs dont fall when clutch is in?
Hey everyone I have a issues with my new Evo. Its currently down because Im doing all the bolt ons but before when I would be driving it under a good ammount of throttle, trying to shift at around 4k-5k rpm the revs wouldnt fall. I could push the clutch in and the revs would stay at the same rpm for a couple seconds then drop down to idle. It wasnt erratic at all like a vacum leak but seemed more electronically controlled
Has anyone had this happen to them or heard anything similar? I dont know the history of the car but I pulled the fuel pump this weekend to put in my wally 255 and low and behold it already had one installed.

As stated above nothing to worry about. From what I understand its just the ECU burning off access gas that may be in the combustion chamber when the car is under a rich condition.. basically giving quite a bit of throttle then immediately pushing in the clutch.
if it stays at the RPM then i would say you have a Tephra ROM which allows for no lifting off the gas pedal to shift. if it drops at a slower rate then i would say it is throttle hang which is fairly common.

I forgot to add this as well, it does NOT have a stock clutch from what me and a few people can tell. Its very very firm and doesnt grab until the pedal is almost fully released and it grabs hard.
