quick qestion about cams

I have noticed a yellow/orange coloring on some kelford cams. Is that just to mark which one is intake and which one is exhaust? Is it ok if it doesn't have the colors on it?

Are your cams used? perhaps the coloring fades with use? as long as the cams say kelford on them no need to worry
