How much would a shop charge me for...

Hello,

I need to install cams, springs, retainers, megan o2, ETS IC with IC piping, 1000cc injectors, HKS timming belt, fidanza cam gear and FP RED. I would like to know what should I expect to pay to get this work done by a reputable shop? Thanks in advance!

Depends on the shop's hourly rate. You won't get a good estimate here because it will vary from shop to shop. Your best bet would be to call Shops directly.

Hmmm I see... and I'll do that first thing on monday, but I wanted to get an estimate to be prepared or to know what a "fair" deal would be

All shop are different, so its hard to get an answer. Try giving your local shop a call and get a quote. Plus most of your parts are easy to install and can be done in the garage. Also you gain experience by working on your own car.

I hear you, my only concern is the timming belt, cams and spring/retainers. I would hate to **** up my car

Last time I checked, one of the shops told me they would charge me $450 for the springs/retainers job. Guess they would charge about $500 by adding cams, belt and gear... Anyways, I'll see what I can do about the turbo and the IC. Then I'll take the car to the shop for the other part of the job.

Springs and retainers should cost the most 350 but people usually charge 250.

You will also need a tune after all is said and done. I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500-$2000 to have it all done. The timing belt and clutch job will set you back the most and then the tune.

Timing will be the most expensive by far. The parts alone for a timing belt job vary from $400-$800 depending on what you do.
